EUROAVIA Pisa non vede l’ora di presentarvi un nuovo evento!
Vi porteremo a Cascina, sede del rilevatore di onde gravitazionali VIRGO.
La giornata prevederà un seminario che illustrerà brevemente cosa sono, come nascono e come vengono rilevate le onde gravitazionali. Successivamente, ci sarà la parte più emozionante per ingegneri e appassionati: vedremo da vicino gli strumenti… Sarà un occasione da non perdere!

We will take you to Cascina, home of the VIRGO gravitational wave detector.
The day will include a seminar that will briefly explain what gravitational waves are, how they are created and how they are detected. Afterwards, there will be the most exciting part for engineers and enthusiasts: we will see the instruments up close... It will be an opportunity you cannot miss!
